involved? Simply this. Many television stations in the
Southeast like to keep their viewers aware of what's happening in
the mountains during the winter. Often, during weather reports,
meteorologists will finish their report and then give a quick report
on the conditions here in Western North Carolina as a service to
their viewers.We have LIVE Davis Instrument Weather Stations on Beech, Sugar and around the area and we invite the use of that data as well as the LIVE images that are being pulled by our webcameras. Many stations capture the latest image of Ski Beech, Sugar, Hawksnest and our mountain view cams...and then show them onscreen with a quick report something like, "Here's a live view up at Ski Beech on Beech Mountain. As you can see the conditions are really great right now and most of the areas received from 2 to 4 inches of snow. So if you're planning on going up there to ski...you'll find the conditions perfect. These images and this information is brought to us by our friends at SkiNorthCarolina.com.
